Consultancy

What is consultancy?

Many successful schools engage a consultant to help them be even better at what they do. A consultant will work closely with their prospective client to understand their needs and focus on one specific area or a number of interconnected areas. These might include a school’s mission; how it is led; the quality of teaching, learning and assessment; its extracurricular programmes; or its resources. A consultant will spend time with your school, talking to staff and observing, before communicating their findings to you orally and in writing.

Why should you engage a consultant?

Consultancy can give you an objective, fresh pair of eyes on your school, culminating in a rich new set of ideas about what you could do next to help your school evolve. Engaging an external consultant means the analysis of how your school is doing and where it could go is less likely to be biased and the conclusions that are drawn are more likely to be accepted.

How can I help you?

I have worked since 2006 for two of the top international education organisations, the International Baccalaureate and Cambridge Assessment International Education. I have visited and worked closely with more than 100 schools all over the world, helping them transform into even stronger educational organisations with a clear understanding of how to move forwards.
